ULA SCULPTURE BENCH 3m

Born from the stillness of confinement in the ancestral cave where my parents reside in Granada, ULA—whose name in Celtic means “Jewel of the Sea”—is an ode to serenity and life in gestation.
During those days, as I joyfully awaited the arrival of my first nephew, the figure of the pregnant woman, with her maternal power, intertwined in my imagination with the constant whisper of the sea.
Thus, almost subconsciously, the peace of the waves and the protective curve of motherhood shaped this sublime piece three meters long.
For its first manifestation, I chose green Macael marble, a stone whose veins and textures evoke the perpetual motion of the sea slamming into the rocks.
In every line and curve of ULA, you can hear the echo of the ocean, a melody of calm and strength, a sculpted celebration of the encounter between nature and the miracle of life.
